The RMS St Helena has departed Cape Town and is travelling to False Bay where she will anchor in readiness to go into dry dock in Simonstown tomorrow morning, Wednesday 19 April 2017.
It is estimated that the RMS will be ‘dry’ on Thursday, 20 April when technical personnel will be be able to start work.
All passengers have disembarked and are being accommodated with family & friends or in a hotel. Medical referrals have returned to Panorama Lodge.
Meanwhile, investigations into an alternative means of transporting passengers to St Helena continue.
