For St Helena Day, the RMS St Helena created themed menus and lots of entertainment. A traditional dish of fried yams were included in the breakfast and deck sports on the Sundeck included tug of war, sack races, balloon races plus much more. With flat calm seas and the sun overhead, lunch was served in the Sunlounge to include St Helenian Bacon Plo, another traditional meal. Dinner was a fine event in the dining room with the ever famous tuna fish cakes featuring and the evening finished with a St Helena quiz and disco. A fitting celebration for a great day.
